Former coach of the "Barcelona" football club, Xavi Hernandez, does not plan to work in his country in the near future. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
Several clubs in Spain have offered the 45-year-old specialist the position of head coach, but Xavi has rejected these offers. According to the publication "Marca," Xavi has stated his clear position and emphasized that he currently has no intention of managing any local team other than "Barcelona."
For reference, Xavi was dismissed from "Barcelona" at the end of the 2023/24 season. He was replaced by Hans-Dieter Flick.
Flick achieved high results with "Barcelona" in the national championship and other domestic competitions last season. Additionally, Xavi has also worked as a coach in foreign championships.
Before returning to "Barcelona," he served as the head coach of the Qatari club "Al-Sadd." Thus, the experienced specialist is currently not considering working with other teams in Spain.
