The deal between the Spanish and Brazilian clubs is valued at 22 million euros. Lino signed a five-and-a-half-year contract with Flamengo.

25-year-old Samuél Lino played for Atletico for the last three years. He moved to Atletico from Portugal's Gil Vicente club in 2022.

Lino was loaned out once during his three years, meaning he played one season with Valencia club. The new Flamengo player's primary position is left winger.

He can also operate on the right wing of the attack and the left side of midfield. The Transfermarkt portal values the player's transfer at 22 million euros.

Lino is expected to showcase himself at Flamengo and bring benefits to the team.
