Sergey Kiryakov, a former forward of the "Dinamo" team in Moscow and an experienced specialist who has managed several clubs in Russia, expressed his opinion on the transfer of midfielder Jhedson Fernandes, who moved from "Besiktas" to the "Spartak" club. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to official information, the total value of this agreement is 20 million euros, with an additional 5 million euros indicated as a bonus. However, some media outlets report that "Spartak" has spent a total of 27 million euros on the new player.
According to Kiryakov, whether paying 27 million euros for Jhedson was the right decision or not will be shown by time. He noted that there are increasing questions regarding player selection and their prices in the activities of the "Spartak" club.
In the expert's opinion, there are problems in the club's sports management, as some players do not meet the tasks set before the club. Sergey Kiryakov also pointed out that the main responsibility in this situation falls on the club's sports director, Francis Kahiga.
Previously, the "Spartak" leadership had stated that they would evaluate Francis Kahiga's performance after the summer transfer window, that is, after September 1.
