Prince William: "Not being able to watch your favorite team's games in your own country is frustrating"
The British heir to the throne, Prince William, has expressed his dissatisfaction with not being able to watch his favorite team, Aston Villa, play in the English Premier League (EPL) on television. According to him, the EPL games are not broadcast on Saturdays, which greatly frustrates him.

Prince William acknowledges that it is not easy to go to Villa Park stadium, but he prefers to watch as many games as possible – either at the stadium or on television. He also mentioned that he has been trying to arrange all his visits to Champions League games because one should not miss such opportunities when the team is in good form.

His main issue is that on Saturdays at 15:00, he cannot watch his team's Premier League game in his own country because there is a rule in England: channels do not broadcast at that time. He spoke about how this "blackout" situation is very distressing and frustrating for him. "It is very frustrating that we cannot watch it in our own country. In other countries, you can watch any game at any time," he said.

Prince William also emphasized that there is no problem getting updates on broadcasts through the "Villa TV" service, but he finds it incomprehensible that such events are not fully shown in his own country.

It is said that this rule was introduced in England in the 1960s and was designed to encourage fans to attend lower league games. However, over time, this situation has become a significant problem for fans of Aston Villa or other teams, creating difficulties for those who want to watch such games.

Prince William's statements highlight once again the important issue among football fans – the need to reconsider the policy regarding football broadcasts on television.
