The new player of the "Spartak" team, Jhedson Fernandes, shared his thoughts about the team's head coach Dejan Stankovich. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
Previously, it was announced that Moscow's "Spartak" club purchased the 26-year-old midfielder from Turkey's "Besiktas" team for 20 million euros. In an interview with the press service, Jhedson Fernandes acknowledged Stankovich as a good player and a specialist with rich experience.
He also mentioned that he does not expect a friendly coach at Spartak, understanding that Stankovich will be demanding as a coach. According to Jhedson, Stankovich will be his coach, not his friend, and he is ready for that.
Fernandes may play his debut match for "Spartak" next Sunday. On that day, the team led by Stankovich will face "Akron" away.
The match is scheduled to take place as part of the third round of the Russian championship and is planned to start at 15:30 Tashkent time.
