Marseille football club has filled its squad with a new player. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
Forward Igor Payshao will now play for this team. He previously played for the Dutch club Feyenoord.
The press service of the French Marseille team announced that this transfer has been officially completed. Earlier, there were reports that the Rotterdam club was planning to keep Igor Payshao in their squad.
However, due to Marseille's very beneficial offer, an agreement was reached regarding the player's transfer. The Marseille club paid 30 million euros for this player.
Additionally, according to the contract, another 5 million euros may be paid as a bonus. Igor Payshao will operate under the number 14 in the Ligue 1 competition.
The 25-year-old player became one of the main forwards of the Feyenoord team last season. He appeared in 47 matches, scored 18 goals, and provided 19 assists.
Thus, Payshao is expected to strengthen the attack of the Marseille team.
