Football agent Vladimir Kuzmichov shared his thoughts on midfielder Jedson Fernandes' transfer to the Spartak team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to him, such a large sum for the transfer places a high-level performance obligation on the player. The agent stated that Spartak fans expect Jedson's performance level to be at least at Barco's level from his very first game, and perhaps even better results.
According to reports, the Spartak club purchased the 26-year-old Portuguese player from Turkey's Beşiktaş team for approximately 20.8 million euros. With additional bonuses considered, the transfer price could rise to 28 million euros.
This marks the largest transfer in the history of the Spartak club. Additionally, Jedson Fernandes' first game for Spartak is expected to take place on August 3 against the Akron team in the third round of the Russian Premier League.
Fans are expecting high results and effective play from the new player. The club's management is also hoping for the team's strengthening through this transfer.
