He emphasized that after celebrating the championship, the team has now come to its senses and started to work seriously again. According to him, the players' heads were a bit dizzy after the victory, but one cannot live only on past achievements.

Ponomaryov also believes that a draw would have been a fair result between “Krasnodar” and “Dinamo.” He stated that both teams performed equally on the field and the game was a tough contest.
