Mujtaba Khominay's absence is raising doubts about his leadership abilities.

According to Axios, the public absence of Mujtaba Khomeini, son of Ali Khomeini and a candidate for the highest leadership position in Iran, is raising serious doubts about his leadership abilities. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Paying attention to information from various sources, his near absence from public events recently has further intensified these questions. During the military operations initiated by the US and Israel, his activity as a candidate remained hidden.
For example, on the twelfth day of last March, an address to the people was distributed not read personally by him but through a presenter. Statements released on that day or later were only presented in written form, and although a live appearance was expected, it did not happen.
Although intelligence services and analysts expected his live broadcast on the occasion of the Nowruz holiday, these expectations were not met and were limited to a text message. This situation has raised even more question marks in the political environment.
One of Israel's senior officials emphasized that there is no clear evidence whether he is truly making decisions or not. Another source described the situation as rather strange.
Although the Iranian people are expected to take significant steps to choose him as the supreme leader, there are still no clear facts confirming his actual participation in the country's governance. Therefore, the latest images and information distributed by the Central Intelligence Agency are being verified.
Currently, Masoud Pizishkian's video address to the people indicates that activity within the country's leadership is continuing in other directions. However, demands for Mujtaba Khomeini to appear live at least once remain at the same level, and his invisibility is causing serious concern.
Reuters agency reported at the beginning of March that he sustained minor injuries during the attacks. The Telegraph reported that he avoided serious consequences because he was walking in the garden before the attack.
Although Iranian officials have acknowledged his injury, they emphasized that it is not serious and his life is not in danger. Overall, the uncertainties surrounding him and his public absence raise new questions about how future political processes will develop.
This situation remains a major focus of attention not only within Iran but also worldwide.
