Jeko ends his activity when the youth score more goals than him

Famous Bosnian footballer Edin Dzeko shared his thoughts on when he will end his playing career. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

He stated that he considers retiring when young players start scoring twice as many goals as he does. Dzeko's comments were cited in an Italian sports publication.

This summer, 39-year-old Edin Dzeko joined the "Fiorentina" team participating in the Italian championship. Prior to this, he played for two seasons at Turkey's "Fenerbahce" club.

In the last season, Dzeko played a total of 53 matches, scoring 21 goals and providing 8 assists. In the first round of the upcoming season, "Fiorentina" will play away against the "Cagliari" team.

This match will take place on August 24. Edin Dzeko is expected to be beneficial to his new team with his rich experience and skills.

He is still performing at a high level and emphasized that he is not seriously considering retirement at the moment. According to him, he will continue to move on the football field until young players start scoring more goals than him.
