Rahimov: "The game with 'Sochi' was the hardest"

The head coach of Kazan's "Rubin" football team, Rashid Rahimov, shared his thoughts on the results of the match held as part of the third round of the Russian championship. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

In this match, "Rubin" defeated the "Sochi" team 2:1 at home. The author of both goals for the team was Mirlind Daku.

In an interview after the match, Rahimov stated that the match took place under difficult conditions. According to him, the hot and humid weather made it hard for the players.

He also emphasized that the team had played a match four days prior, which affected the players' physical condition. The coach mentioned that he had warned his players that the game against "Sochi" would be the hardest.

He noted that the final minutes of the game were particularly exciting and nerve-wracking. Additionally, Rashid Rahimov acknowledged that "Rubin" has not yet achieved the necessary stability to be a high-level and consistent team.

Currently, the Kazan team is in fourth place in the league table, having collected seven points after three rounds.
