Uzbekistani female boxers achieve a historic result!
The women's boxing world championship has concluded in the city of Niš, Serbia. The Uzbekistan national team successfully participated, winning 1 silver and 3 bronze medals for the first time in its history.
In the final match of the -66 kg weight category, Navbahor Hamidova was awarded a silver medal after losing to Olympic and world champion, Turkish Busenaz Surmenli. Nevertheless, she became the first Uzbek female boxer to reach the finals of the adult world championships.
