Sergey Lushan: "In the final part of the game, our activation was related to tactics"

After the match between "Sogdiana" and "Navbahor" (2:3) in the Super League round 2, the guest head coach Sergey Lushan participated in the press conference.

— The game was played under equal struggles. In football, whoever scores more goals wins. I liked the game, and I thank the players. I believe our game was also pleasing to the fans. Perhaps a draw would have been a fair result, but we took advantage of our opportunities. The opponent also had two chances, but they couldn't score. That's football.

— How did FIFA's ban affect you?
— I won't talk about internal matters. Our team is completely new. Only two players are from last year's squad. All teams in Uzbekistan retained their rosters, but our situation is different. We brought in quality players based on our opportunities. It's similar in some places, and not in others. We have problems in defense and attack. We will continue to work.

— Alisher Odilov and Ruslan Jiyanov came off the bench. Was this a tactical decision or were they not ready to play for 90 minutes?
— This was more of a tactical decision. I told them they needed to strengthen the game in the last 30 minutes. We couldn't apply pressure in the last game. In this game, we played defensively in the first half, and in the second half, we brought in young and fast players. I can't always say we will use this tactic, but today our plan worked.
