Aleksandr Ektov underwent surgery on his knee, more surgery is expected

A member of the Nizhny Novgorod "Pari NN" football club, Aleksandr Ektov, underwent surgery on his knee joint. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

This surgical procedure was carried out in Munich, Germany. This was announced by the club's press service.

Aleksandr Ektov stated that the first operation was successful. He mentioned that he feels well, feels the support of the fans, and expressed his gratitude to everyone.

The footballer especially noted his satisfaction with the attention from the fans. At the beginning of September, Ektov is expected to undergo another surgical procedure.

After that, the recovery period for the 29-year-old footballer will be determined. According to club representatives, the date for the player's return to the field is currently unknown.

It should be noted that the "Pari NN" team, under the leadership of Aleksey Shpilevskiy, has lost all three matches played in the Russian championship in the new season so far. Additionally, due to reconstruction work being carried out at their main stadium, the club is currently unable to hold home matches in Nizhny Novgorod.
