The UN called for an impartial investigation into the school attack in Iran

The United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights has called for an impartial investigation into the school attack that occurred in Iran. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to the High Commissioner's spokesperson Ravina Shamdasani, those responsible for carrying out the attack are accountable for conducting the investigation and publicly releasing its results. It was also emphasized that it is necessary to punish the perpetrators and compensate the victims.
The UN High Commissioner for Human Rights expressed concern that military actions by the US and Israel against Iran could negatively impact civilian infrastructure and peaceful populations. In this regard, strict adherence to international humanitarian law is essential.
The "Shajarayi Toyyiba" school in Minob district was bombed during lessons on February 28. As a result of the attack, many students and teachers were killed, and the school building was severely damaged.
Iranian state media reported that many children died as a result of the incident. UNESCO condemned this event as a gross violation of international humanitarian law.
The US Secretary of Defense stated that the American military does not strike civilian objects and announced that an investigation into the incident is underway.
