Abduqodir Husanov's transfer fee has reached 35 million euros

The German Transfermarkt portal has updated the transfer values of players in the English Premier League. According to it, the transfer price of Uzbekistan national team and Manchester City defender Abduqodir Husanov has risen to 35 million euros. This price is considered a new record for Uzbekistan and Central Asian football.
Price tripled

In the last year, the transfer price of 21-year-old Husanov increased from 1.5 million euros to 2 million euros, then to 5 million euros in October, and reached 12 million euros in December. After moving from Lens to Manchester City and becoming one of the main defenders of the team, his price has nearly tripled, and today, on March 18, the portal raised his value to 35 million euros.
Absolute record price in Uzbek football history
Abduqodir Husanov's transfer price reaching 35 million euros is considered an absolute record for Uzbek football. The total transfer value of the Uzbekistan national team currently stands at 70 million euros, of which 35 million belongs to Abduqodir, while the remaining 35 million euros is the total value of other players.

Previously, Eldor Shomurodov's transfer value of 14 million euros in 2021 was considered the absolute record transfer price in Uzbek football. With a value of 35 million euros, Husanov has become the new holder of this record.
Manchester City's second most expensive center-back
It is noteworthy that Husanov has become Manchester City's second most expensive center-back. In this regard, Ruben Dias's value is 70 million euros, while a decrease has been observed in the values of center-backs such as Nathan Ake (32 million euros), Manuel Akanji (32 million euros), and John Stones (30 million euros).
Surpassed De Bruyne, Ederson, Gundogan, Kovacic
Abduqodir has surpassed not only several defenders in his club but also notable players in terms of transfer value. Specifically, he managed to outpace stars such as Kevin De Bruyne (27 million), Ederson (25 million), Mateo Kovacic (25 million), and Ilkay Gundogan (7 million), who are among the leaders of Manchester City. However, it should be noted that the transfer values of these experienced players have decreased due to their age being over 30.
Erling Haaland is considered the most expensive player in the "city" with a value of 200 million euros. Rodri and Foden also occupy the top three with a price of 130 million euros.
Surpassing Son, became the 4th most expensive player in Asia
Abduqodir has surpassed Son Heung-min (30 million euros), the winger of Tottenham and the South Korean national team, among the most expensive players in Asia, securing a place in the top five for the first time. Japanese Kaoru Mitoma (Brighton) and Korean Kim Min-jae (Bavaria) are the most expensive players in Asia with a value of 45 million euros. Takefusa Kubo (Japan, Real Sociedad) holds the 3rd place with a value of 40 million euros, while the Uzbek player is in the 4th place with a value of 35 million euros. PSG winger Kang In-lee and Son Heung-min are in the 5th place with a value of 30 million euros.
Also in the top 4 in the CIS
Uzbekistan national team's 21-year-old defender has also secured a place in the top 4 among the most expensive players in the Commonwealth of Independent States. Only Georgian Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (85 million euros), Giorgi Mamardashvili (40 million), and Ukrainian Ilya Zabarnyi (38 million euros) are ahead of Abduqodir Husanov.
