Football specialist Nikolay Naumov sharply criticized the work of Sergey Semak, the head coach of the St. Petersburg "Zenit" team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
In his opinion, "Zenit" has significantly weakened its game recently. Naumov emphasized that the collaboration with the coaching staff should have been stopped long ago, as they have become too accustomed to each other and have failed to see the shortcomings.
Yesterday, "Zenit" players lost 0:1 to the "Akmat" team in the fourth round of the Russian championship. According to the specialist, the team has lost its previous bright and effective play, and their game has become simple and unproductive.
The team has only collected five points at the beginning of the season. This is the worst start for "Zenit" in the last 17 years.
