The former president of Moscow's Lokomotiv club, Nikolay Naumov, commented on the negative influence of Spartak's head coach Deyan Stankovich on the players. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to him, the head coach has no intention of changing himself and his excessive emotionality is harming the team. Naumov stated that Stankovich is increasing the nervousness in the players.
Although he is a strong coach, there are issues with his temperament. For reference, under Stankovich's leadership, Spartak has only gathered four points in the first four rounds of the Russian championship.
After the second round, Spartak suffered a heavy defeat to Baltika and two of its players were sent off in that match. After that game, Stankovich admitted that he was tired.
The specialist's emotions and actions within the team are negatively affecting the players' performance. Therefore, the team's results are not as expected.
In Naumov's opinion, the coach needs to work on himself and maintain the team's balance.
