Spartak wants to justify the fans' trust in the match against Zenit

The capital's Spartak team striker Nikita Massaliga shared his thoughts on the upcoming match against Zenit. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

The fifth round match of the Russian championship will take place on August 16. Nikita Massaliga emphasized that the team needs to justify themselves in front of their fans after the recent results.

He stated that he believes they can defeat Zenit as well as any other opponent. Spartak played their last match in the group stage of the Russian Cup.

In that match, the Moscow club missed the opportunity against Dynamo Makhachkala in the penalty shootout. After this game, Spartak's head coach Dejan Stankovich's team is currently in second place with 4 points.
