Former Russia national team midfielder Igor Semshov shared his thoughts on the prospects of the "Rostov" team this season. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to him, playing has become somewhat more difficult after the departure of the team's leaders. Semshov stated that once the injury-related problems are resolved, "Rostov" will return to their previous position from last season — the middle of the table.
So far this season, "Rostov" has won only one out of six matches in all competitions. The team has collected three points in the Russian Premier League and is currently in 13th place.
On August 17, the "Rostov" team, led by Jonathan Alba, will play an away match against "Rubin." The match will start at 15:45 Moscow time.
Overall, it is hoped that once the team's condition improves, they will show better results in the second half of the season.
