Ukrainian drones attacked the oil refinery in Krasnodar

Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles launched an attack on an oil refinery located in Russia's Krasnodar region on the night of February 28. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to Reuters, the attack targeted the "Albashneft" enterprise in the village of Novominskaya, resulting in a fire at one of the reservoirs and its surroundings. The local operational headquarters initially stated that the fire was caused by the fall of drone debris.
Emergency services were deployed to the scene, and firefighting efforts are underway. So far, there is no official information about any casualties in the incident.
Reports indicate that this is not the first attack on energy infrastructure in the Krasnodar region. Reuters noted that on February 17, the Ilskiy oil refinery was also targeted by a drone attack, which caused a fire.
This situation shows that oil facilities in the area are being targeted. The recent attack in Krasnodar once again confirms that energy facilities remain a primary target during the Russia–Ukraine conflict.
Currently, efforts continue to fully extinguish the fire, assess the extent of the damage, and investigate all details of the incident.
