Former Lokomotiv footballer Dmitriy Bulykin shared his thoughts on who might be suitable for the position of head coach of the Spartak team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to him, the team management may consider Aleksandr Ivich on the list because they know him well. Bulykin emphasized the need to trust our specialists.
In his opinion, Cherchesov's candidacy was also considered, but in the final decision, they missed the opportunity. Additionally, Bulykin mentioned that Andrey Tikhonov could also be considered, but he highlighted that Tikhonov lacks high-level work experience.
Dmitriy Alenichev and Yegor Titov, on the other hand, have been away from coaching practice for a long time and are currently not ready to lead the team. Dejan Stankovic has been managing the Spartak team since the summer of 2024.
After the first four rounds of the Russian championship, the "red-whites" are in 11th place with four points. The team is currently working on improving their results.
