
“Baltika” team head coach Andrey Talalaev shared his thoughts with “Match TV” after the match against “Lokomotiv.” This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
He expressed satisfaction with the quality of the team's play and mentioned that he allowed the players to rest tomorrow. The coach emphasized the necessity for players to receive the ball quickly and act swiftly during the attacking phase.
He also stated that the training process should be organized accordingly. Talalaev noted that the team played well in the match against “Lokomotiv,” while the opponent had fewer opportunities.
He evaluated the goal scored from a set-piece as a well-executed action by the opponent. He did not hide his dissatisfaction with the result, as the team could not defeat the leader competing for the championship.
Additionally, he mentioned that an examination would be conducted regarding the condition of the injured player Mendel. The coach appreciates the fans' support with their “Well done!” cheers and hopes for even more of them.
At the same time, the coach recommended that league organizers create conditions to attract more fans to the stadiums. He emphasized that if the match had been held in the evening, more fans could have attended.
The coach stated that fan support is very important for the team and expressed their intention to increase it further through quality play.
