According to City Xtra, Manchester City, which has entered the rebuilding process in English football, has identified strengthening its defense line as one of its main tasks.
The "Citizens" are showing serious interest in 25-year-old French defender Umar Sole, who plays for Italy's Udinese.
The player, valued at 30 million euros, is also on the lists of Liverpool and Chelsi, but City was the first to initiate negotiations.
Husanov and Sole: new competition in defense?
In the winter, City acquired Abduqodir Husanov and Vitor Reis. The young Uzbek defender quickly adapted to the team and played in the starting lineup in several matches.
According to sources, Josep Guardiola personally wants to work closely with Husanov in the summer, planning to make him an important figure in the team's central defense in the future.
