Lazarevich: "For us, the struggle on the field is more important than where the opponent came from"
After the dramatic 2:2 draw between "Mash’al" and "Qizilqum" in the 9th round of the Super League, the guest head coach Nikola Lazarevich participated in a press conference and shared his thoughts on the game.

Lazarevich: "We were passive in the first half, we changed in the second half"

“First of all, I congratulate “Mash’al” on their return to the Super League. They are showing a fighting and attacking style of football. We will approach the upcoming matches with even more seriousness.

In the first half, our team lacked activity, but in the second half, we created situations, scored two goals, and posed a serious challenge to the opponent. “Mash’al” also played excellently. We will analyze the problems and improve. We even had the opportunity to score more goals,” he said.

On the perspective of a team coming from the Pro League

In response to a journalist's question, Lazarevich emphasized that he does not differentiate teams as Pro League or Super League:

“We prepare the same way for any opponent. Even if a team comes from the Pro League, any opponent in the Super League requires serious attention.”

About the legionnaires

Lazarevich expressed satisfaction with the physical condition and performance of the foreign players in his team:

“All players must be ready to fight 100% on the field. The legionnaires are performing well, and I am pleased with them.”

"Both the result and team play are important"

In response to a question about "Qizilqum's" tactical approach, the coach said:

“The result is important for us, but it does not come without team efforts. A perfect game means balance.”

Mashovich or Murtozayev?

In response to the question of which of the two goal scorers is better, Lazarevich jokingly replied:

“The player who scored a goal for us is strong! If he hadn’t scored, I might have praised the opponent. My desire is to not concede goals ourselves.”

The editorial team of Zamin.uz acknowledges Nikola Lazarevich's determination, impartial assessments, and professional approach to sports. His team “Qizilqum” has once again proven that they are competing seriously in every round.
