Uzbekistani judokas took third place in Tashkent

Tashkent city once again hosted a major international sports event. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The "Grand Slam" judo tournament was held at a high level, with several of the world's strongest national teams competing for medals. The Uzbekistan national team also participated successfully in this tournament, delighting the fans.
Our compatriots won 1 gold, 3 silver, and 4 bronze medals, securing third place in the overall team standings. According to the official results of the competition, Japan took first place.
Japanese judokas demonstrated their high level once again by winning 4 gold, 3 silver, and 7 bronze medals. The Azerbaijan national team took second place with 4 gold, 1 silver, and 2 bronze medals.
This team fought confidently in some weight categories and became one of the most effective teams of the tournament. The Uzbekistan national team took third place with 1 gold, 3 silver, and 4 bronze medals.
This result is considered an important achievement both for the team and the fans. Especially, the large number of prize-winners showed that our national team has a strong lineup.
The "Grand Slam" tournament in Tashkent was not only an exciting competition but also an important testing ground for Uzbek judo. Most importantly, despite the pressure of competing at home, our athletes managed to collect medals and achieve a worthy result on the international stage.
