Julian Kinones left Ronalduni and became a Saudi Arabian striker

Julian Kinones, a member of the Mexico national team and a forward for Al-Qadsiah, achieved an unexpected result by winning the top scorer title in the Saudi Pro League. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The experienced striker turned the situation in his favor during the final round of the season, managing to outperform strong rivals such as Al-Nassr star Cristiano Ronaldo and Al-Ahli forward Ivan Touni. According to Goal.com, Kinones' success was an unexpected event for football fans.
This result, which almost no one predicted at the start of the season, came about due to the Mexican player's outstanding performance in the final round. In the decisive match against Al-Ittihad, Kinones demonstrated real skill.
In the game his team won 5:1, the forward scored three goals against the opponent's goal, completing a hat-trick. As a result, his total goal tally reached 33, placing him at the top of the scorers' list.
Before the final round, Kinones had 30 goals, trailing Ivan Touni, who had 32 goals at the time. Cristiano Ronaldo, meanwhile, had scored 26 goals by that point.
The forward, who transferred from Mexico's Club América to Al-Qadsiah in the summer of 2024, used his opportunity exactly at the most important moment. This victory allowed Kinones to put a stop to Cristiano Ronaldo's dream of winning the Golden Boot for the third consecutive time in Saudi Arabia.
The Portuguese striker scored two goals in the final round against Damak, bringing his seasonal total to 28, but this was not enough to overtake the leader. The race for the top scorer title remained intense until the very last minutes.
Former Brentford player Ivan Touni finished the season in second place with 32 goals. Playing for Al-Ahli, Touni failed to score against Al-Khaleej in the final round, giving Kinones the chance to overtake him.
Although Cristiano Ronaldo missed out on this personal achievement, his historical record remains intact. The Al-Nassr captain still holds the absolute record for the most goals scored in a single Saudi Pro League season.
Despite Kinones and Touni's productive performances, neither managed to surpass Ronaldo's 35-goal tally from the previous season.
