"Liverpool" is signing talented Colombian midfielder Samuel Martinez

Liverpool Football Club is on the verge of securing one of South America’s most promising young talents, according to Zamin.uz.
The Reds have reached an agreement for the transfer of Samuel Martínez, a youth product from Colombian side Atlético Nacional, as part of their ongoing efforts to strengthen their midfield options for the future. According to reports from Goal.com, the English club has beaten several European giants in the race for the highly-rated youngster.
It is reported that the transfer fee for the 17-year-old attacking midfielder could reach approximately £740,000. Martínez had attracted attention from numerous scouts due to his standout performances in South American youth tournaments.
In that influential competition, he contributed significantly to his national team’s success, scoring three goals and providing three assists in six matches, impressing specialists with his technical ability and vision. Samuel Martínez had also drawn serious interest from renowned clubs such as Borussia Dortmund in Germany and Barcelona in Spain.
However, the player opted to continue his development in England, choosing the environment of the Premier League and the iconic Anfield stadium. According to well-known journalists Pipe Sierra and Paul Joyce, a five-year contract with the player is expected to be signed.
Furthermore, as part of the agreement, Atlético Nacional will retain a percentage of any future transfer fee involving the player. Under international transfer regulations, there are certain restrictions on signing and registering foreign players under the age of 18.
For this reason, Martínez’s official registration with Liverpool is scheduled for the summer of 2027. Until then, the right-footed attacking midfielder will remain in his home country to gain experience and further develop his skills.
This transfer represents the next step in Liverpool’s long-term strategy and their systematic approach to identifying and nurturing young talent.
