Brentford does not want to give Mbeumo to Manchester United

Manchester United continues to fight for the purchase of Brian Mbeumo, but Brentford's position remains unchanged. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

According to Sky Sports, the Red Devils' second offer of 73 million euros for the 25-year-old Cameroonian wing-back has been rejected. Previously, Brentford had also rejected an initial inquiry of 64 million euros.

Nevertheless, negotiations between the parties are actively ongoing. According to sources, the player himself wants to move specifically to Manchester United, although Tottenham is also showing interest in him. In the 2024/25 season, Mbeumo was one of Brentford's key players, playing 42 matches, scoring 20 goals, and providing 9 assists.

His contract with Brentford is valid until the summer of 2026. The Transfermarkt portal estimates his market value at 55 million euros.

For this reason, the club has set strict conditions to secure him and is not changing its position. Manchester United is trying to improve its offers.
