Germany announced it will not intervene in the conflict in the Middle East

At a time when the tense situation in the Middle East is attracting the attention of the entire world, Germany, a leading European country, has officially announced its position. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
During heated debates in the Bundestag, German officials spoke about stopping the flames of war and diplomatic solutions. The views of the German government and politicians regarding the conflict around Iran were analyzed.
In his speech at the Bundestag, German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius confirmed that Germany will not participate in this armed confrontation. According to the minister, Germany is not a party to the conflict and does not wish to become one.
Pistorius did not hide his concern about the expansion of military actions. He emphasized that starting a war is easier than ending it.
Germany is currently in constant dialogue with its partners in Israel, the USA, and the European Union to curb violence and ease the situation. The head of the defense department specifically noted that there is no clear plan to resolve the conflict and that resolving it solely through military force would be a mistake.
Although there are varying attitudes toward the Iranian regime in the German parliament, concern for security is shared. Norbert Röttgen assessed the weakening of the current Iranian regime as a gain for the region and the Iranian people.
Ines Schwerdtner emphasized that forced regime change from outside does not bring freedom. Omid Nouripour demanded a ban on the activities of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps within German territory.
Germany’s statement may also serve as a distinctive signal for other countries in Europe. Time will show how official Berlin’s choice of the path of peace will affect the overall situation in the region.
