Giovanni Stroppa, who brought the "Cremonese" team to Serie A in Italy, surprisingly parted ways with the club. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The specialist decided to continue his career in the second tier of Italian football. The 57-year-old coach's new destination is the "Venezia" team. The official representatives of the "Venezia" club announced that Stroppa has been appointed as the head coach of the team.
A contract has been signed with him for one year. If the team returns to Serie A, the contract will be automatically extended. Giovanni Stroppa began his coaching career in 2012 with the "Pescara" club.
It is worth noting that "Venezia" finished in 19th place in the Serie A standings this season and was relegated from the top league. Now they aim to rise to higher levels under Stroppa's leadership.
This change is expected to open new opportunities for the team.
