The Tajikistan team "Istiklol" will not hold a friendly match despite the invitation from the Russian club "Spartak". This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
"Istiklol" head coach Igor Cherevchenko stated that the team will only return from vacation on July 11 and will leave for a training camp in Belarus on July 12. "Spartak" proposed to organize the match on either July 11 or 15, but this was not possible.
Cherevchenko considers it dangerous to hold a match immediately after returning from vacation, taking into account the safety of the players. He also emphasized the need for at least two weeks of training.
Previously, Moscow's "Spartak" team defeated "Torpedo" 3:1 in a friendly match. "Spartak's" next game will take place on July 6 against "Krylya Sovetov".
This decision was made to ensure the health of the players and the team's preparedness. The coach also noted the importance of quality preparation for the team.
Overall, "Istiklol" is acting according to its designated plan and prioritizes the condition of the players.
