The head coach of Moscow's "Dinamo" team, Valery Karpin, commented on the results of the group stage of the Russia Cup RPL pathway. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to him, being grouped with "Krasnodar," "Krylya Sovetov," and "Sochi" is a "normal situation" and its impact is not significant. Karpin assessed the draw process in the playoffs as follows: a group is a group, it doesn't matter, such a draw has happened, and we need to think about what can be done about it, he says. Additionally, some RPL teams had previously expressed dissatisfaction with the draw process being presented in written form.
They accused the organizers of fraud due to the absence of club representatives in the process. However, the Russian Football Union denied all accusations and emphasized that the draw process is a lengthy procedure, and the airtime is limited.
Moreover, it was clarified that team representatives are not required to participate in the draw. At the same time, necessary rules are in place to ensure the transparency and fairness of football competitions in Russia.
These processes serve to ensure that the game of football is conducted fairly and openly.
