The lawyer of Sochi team striker Vladimir Pisarskiy, Anton Smirnov, responded to the comments made by the Secretary General of the Russian Football Union, Maksim Mitrofanov, regarding Pisarskiy's polygraph test. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

It should be noted that Pisarskiy is suspected of involvement in gambling related to the match between Sochi and Pari Nizhniy Novgorod. It is also mentioned that the player's friend bet on the victory of Nizhniy Novgorod, and the player received a direct red card in the first half. Mitrofanov referred to the results of Pisarskiy's polygraph test as "just a piece of paper."

However, the lie detector confirmed the player's innocence. Smirnov emphasized on his Telegram channel that this document was prepared by a certified specialist, containing graphs, the equipment used, the rules of the test, and conclusive results. He refuted Mitrofanov's claims, stating that the assertion that Pisarskiy did not know what issue he addressed to the polygraph was unfounded. The player is facing threats of various penalties, including a lifetime disqualification.

As a result of the match, Pari Nizhniy Novgorod won 2:1.
