The Grand Club regrets that it could not capture Abduqodir Husanov

"Inter" had announced several times that they had plans to buy a new defender and rejuvenate the squad. However, according to renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano, one of the club's targets did not materialize. The reason is that "Manchester City" signed Abduqodir Husanov in January.

The "Nerazzurri" were planning to buy the defender during the summer transfer window, but the "Citizens" acted faster than any other team, including "Real Madrid," to secure the player. They paid 40 million euros to "Lance" to persuade them to let Husanov go mid-season.

"Inter" was monitoring Husanov as a replacement for Stefan De Vrij or Francesco Acerbi. The club is planning to bring in a new player to fill the position of one of the experienced defenders.
