Kanchelskis: Ugalde did not play fully at "Spartak"

Former Manchester United and Russia national team midfielder Andrey Kanchelskis commented on Moscow Spartak forward Manfred Ugalde's interest from Feyenoord. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

Earlier, media outlets reported that there was interest in a player from Amsterdam's Ajax club. According to Kanchelskis, Feyenoord is a good team, but not at the level of Spartak.

However, they participate in Europe and the Champions League. Ugalde has not played fully due to not playing anywhere.

Ugalde became the top scorer in the Russian championship by scoring 17 goals in the 2024/2025 season. His transfer value is 15 million euros for the 23-year-old Costa Rican player.

His current contract with the "red-whites" is valid until June 30, 2028. In 2023, Spartak bought him for 13 million euros, despite his nominal value being five million euros from the Twente club.
