Manchester City’s forward midfielder James Makeyt may change clubs. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to Mail Sport, Nottingham Forest is preparing an initial offer for the 22-year-old player. The offer includes 28.8 million euros and bonus payments.
However, Manchester City values the player at approximately 46 million euros. This amount is equal to the money received from Chelsea for Cole Palmer.
Last season, Makeyt played a total of 27 matches across all competitions and managed to score seven goals. Previously, Borussia Dortmund was mentioned as the main competitor for Makeyt.
Currently, the battle for the player continues between these teams. It is still unclear which team the player will continue his career with in the future.
Negotiations are ongoing between the club and the player.
