The Cameroonian goalkeeper of England's "Manchester United" football club, Andre Onana, was injured during the pre-season training camp. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to local publication The Telegraph, the 29-year-old player's injury may prevent him from playing for one or two months.
Previously, the club's management was not actively looking for a new goalkeeper, as Onana had made many mistakes. However, the situation has now changed, and there is a possibility of starting the search for a new goalkeeper.
Last season, Onana played in 50 matches and conceded 65 goals. He kept a clean sheet in 11 matches.
His team reached the final of the Europa League and finished 15th in the English Premier League standings. Onana's market value is approximately 25 million euros.
The club is expected to make new decisions regarding the goalkeeper position following his injury.
