Tashuev also drew attention to the problems in "Zenit's" central midfield. He noted that issues arose in the team's center due to Vendel's inconsistency in performance and the insufficient skill level of Gorshkov and Santos.
The arrival of the new player is expected to improve this situation. In the last season, Jerson played 28 matches on the field, scored 2 goals, and provided 4 assists.
His transfer value is estimated at 25 million euros. This purchase is considered an important step aimed at strengthening the central midfield of the "Zenit" team.
