Markus Vendel will return to "Zenit" in the coming days

Alexander Medvedev, the chairman of the Zenit team, provided information about the current situation of the team's midfielder Markus Vendel. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

The Brazilian midfielder did not participate in the training sessions of the Saint Petersburg club again, as he does not want to return from vacation. According to Medvedev, Vendel is currently on the way and will arrive in Saint Petersburg tomorrow morning.

In this transfer window, the 27-year-old midfielder was scheduled to move to the Botafogo club, but the agreement did not materialize. The first match of the new season in the Russian Premier League for the Zenit team will take place on July 20.

The opponent of the team will be Rostov. Thus, Vendel's future is still uncertain, but he is expected to join the team soon.
