Russian swimmer Yuliya Yefimova announced the team she hopes will win the championship in the new RPL season. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
In her opinion, it would be great if the "Rostov" team could repeat "Krasnodar's" championship path, especially among regional teams. She is also expecting the "Spartak" team to become champions.
At the end of the last season, the "Rostov" team finished in eighth place. In the second half of the season, Jonathan Alba took over as head coach from Valeriy Karpin.
Additionally, "Rostov" reached the superfinal of the Russian Cup but lost to the CSKA team in the penalty shootout. These results increase "Rostov's" chances of showing high performance in the new season as well.
