Oleg Malyishev, the general director of the "Spartak" team, commented on the situation of striker Quincy Promes. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
Recently, the former "red-white" footballer, who is a citizen of the Netherlands, was extradited to his homeland. There, Promes was previously sentenced to prison twice – for one and a half years and six years.
The footballer has appealed these decisions. He is currently extradited to the Netherlands, and the court process is ongoing.
He is being defended by a lawyer. According to Malyishev, this situation is very unfortunate because he really liked Promes' game.
It is worth noting that Quincy Promes was with "Spartak" at a winter training camp in the UAE at the beginning of 2024, but he could not return to the Moscow team due to his involvement in a traffic incident. He was extradited to the Netherlands after staying in the UAE for more than a year.
