OKMK football club held an official presentation ceremony yesterday at the "OKMK Sports Complex" ahead of the new season.
Before the event, there was a presentation ceremony introducing players who defended the team's honor in previous seasons and won the affection of fans with their bright performances, as well as local and foreign players who joined the club starting from this season.
During the event, OKMK FK president Abdulla Khursanov spoke, emphasizing that the team achieved the vice-championship last season and that the hard work and unity of the entire team played a significant role in this achievement. He also mentioned that there are high goals set for the team this season, wishing the players good luck not only in the domestic championship but also in obtaining a spot in international competitions.
In response to these sincere wishes, OKMK FK's head coach Mirjalol Qosimov expressed gratitude for the favorable conditions being created for the team and stated that they aim to achieve even higher goals in the new season.
After that, OKMK FK's general director Bahodir Mirzayev took the stage to provide information about the projects implemented in 2024. He highlighted that significant work is being done for the development of the team, mentioning the establishment of the OKMK football academy, the construction of modern fields for young players, and the building of a dormitory intended for talented players coming from distant regions.
Additionally, starting from 2025, the launch of the "OKMK-Semurg'" team in the city of Angren was recognized as an important step not only for the club but also for the residents of Angren. It was emphasized that this would contribute to the development of regional football and create opportunities for new talents to emerge.
As the ceremony continued in a lively atmosphere, the next part of the presentation featured a ceremonial unveiling of the team's new game kits with the participation of the OKMK FK president, general director, and head coach. These kits were produced by the Uzbek brand "7SABER" and were officially handed over to the players.
OKMK FK's greatest strength is undoubtedly its loyal and dedicated fans! The supporters who attended the event emphasized their commitment to supporting the team in any circumstances. Additionally, the fans present at the event had the opportunity to participate in a photo session with their favorite players.
It is worth noting that OKMK FK strengthened its squad during the winter transfer window with the following players: local players Humoyunshoh Sayyotov, Abror Karimov, Akbar Oktamov, Asad Sobirjonov, and Abubakr Rizo Turdialiyev were brought into the team. At the same time, the "miners" also added foreign players such as Japanese Naoaki Senaga and Australian Ajak Riak to their ranks.
Moreover, Ahmadullo Muqimjonov, who previously played on loan for the "Bunyodkor" and "Olympic" teams, has returned to the OKMK squad. Additionally, contracts were extended with Avazbek Olmasaliyev, Islom To'xtakho'jayev, Oybek Rustamov, and Sardor Mirzayev, who showed stable performances in the previous season with OKMK FK.
