Uzbekistan's young hockey players secured a spot in Group A of the world championship

The Uzbekistan U18 youth national hockey team participated in the World Championship for the first time in history.
The games of Group B in the III division of the World Championship held in Thailand ended successfully for the Uzbeks.
The Uzbek youth defeated Thailand 3:2 in the decisive match, securing a spot in Group A of the III division of the World Championship.
In previous matches, the Uzbeks had defeated South Africa 12:0, Luxembourg 12:1, Turkmenistan 8:2, and Bosnia 11:3.
The Uzbekistan U18 national team was coached by Latvian Normunds Seyeys.
Rustam Ergashev was named the best goalkeeper of the tournament. Jasurbek Rustamxonov was recognized as the best forward, with 14 goals and 8 assists. The tournament's top scorer was Turkmenistan's Sultonhamit Vahitov, with 17 goals and 7 assists.
