On Friday evening, the teams "Dinamo" and "Baltika" faced each other on the football field. Famous sports commentator Dmitriy Guberniev named "Zenit" as the main favorite of the championship.
According to him, "Zenit" remains one of the main contenders for the season. Additionally, the teams "Krasnodar", CSKA, "Dinamo", and "Spartak" will also try to withstand its pressure.
"Zenit" has won the Russian championship a total of ten times. From 2019 to 2024, they maintained the Premier League championship for six consecutive seasons.
However, last season they finished in second place, collecting one point less than "Krasnodar". "Krasnodar", on the other hand, won the championship for the first time in its history.
In the first round of the Premier League, "Zenit" will host the team "Rostov". Throughout the season, the teams will compete against each other and fight for the championship.
