Peskov: The Iran crisis was discussed in the Putin-Trump conversation

Press Secretary to the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov announced important news regarding the conversation held between Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump. Zamin.uz reported on this.
According to him, during the communication with the US President, the Russian leader conveyed his proposals for easing the crisis surrounding Iran and resolving it in the future solely through political means. During this conversation, Trump did not ask Putin to quickly resolve the conflict in Ukraine.
At the same time, the Kremlin representative emphasized the specific importance of maintaining the format of trilateral negotiations on the issue of Ukraine. In his opinion, all interested parties will benefit from the earliest possible resolution of this serious conflict.
Meanwhile, Peskov stated that it is currently unclear when and where the next trilateral negotiations on Ukraine will take place. It is said that a final agreement has not yet been reached in this regard.
The Kremlin representative also noted that Russia is ready to help reduce tensions in the Middle East. However, it was particularly emphasized that deep coordination with many countries and parties is necessary to achieve effective results in this direction.
Additionally, according to Peskov, the topic of sanctions imposed by the US on Russian oil was not discussed in detail during the communication between Putin and Trump. Earlier, Donald Trump had emphasized that this conversation took place in a good spirit and reported that Putin expressed his readiness to help regulate the situation in the Middle East.
