OpenAI opens an ecological AI data center in Norway

According to TechCrunch.com, the new data center will be built on environmentally friendly technologies that efficiently manage heat.

It will serve to expand artificial intelligence computing power. Through this project, OpenAI aims to strengthen its infrastructure in Europe and meet the needs of regional customers.

The data center will utilize local electrical grids and is planned to be powered by renewable energy sources. This infrastructure is intended for the computing capabilities of GPT-4o and future artificial intelligence models.

The launch of the data center is scheduled for the end of 2025. This project will enhance OpenAI's competitiveness in Europe.

At the same time, minimizing environmental harm and ensuring energy efficiency is one of the main tasks. OpenAI's new data center will drive further innovations in the field of artificial intelligence.
