A new "Robot Mall" store has opened in the Chinese capital, Beijing. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
In this store, over 100 types of products are available for sale, ranging from life-sized humanoid robots in the form of Albert Einstein to mechanical waiters. "Robot Mall" is one of the first shopping centers in the country specializing in the sale of humanoid and household robots.
The store operates in a system similar to that of a car dealership. Purchasing, spare parts supply, and maintenance are all carried out in one place.
The prices of the robots range from 2,000 yuan (approximately 278 dollars) to several million yuan. Customers have the opportunity to test models that look like dogs, robots that play chess, and other interactive devices.
Next to the store, there is a themed restaurant where robots perform the processes of serving customers and preparing food. Over 200 local and foreign brands of robots are showcased in the shopping center.
The opening of "Robot Mall" coincided with the Five-Day World Robot Conference held in Beijing. At this event, over 200 local and foreign companies presented more than 1,500 new developments.
Additionally, from August 14 to 17, the World Humanoid Robot Games will be held for the first time. More than 20 national teams will compete in athletics, dance, and football.
