The body of doctor Nikola Ivaldo, who went missing for a year in the Piedmont region of northern Italy, was found using artificial intelligence and drone technologies. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The Italian National Alpine and Cave Rescue Service had been searching for the 64-year-old doctor for a long time, but conventional methods were unsuccessful. Then, new generation drones were involved in the search efforts.
On July 29, two drones monitored the forests in the mountainous area for five hours and sent images to the artificial intelligence system. The artificial intelligence identified the doctor’s cap through tiny pixels that are not visible to the human eye.
Based on this information, the search efforts accelerated, and on July 31, the body was found with the help of specialized experts and drones. Rescuers emphasize that artificial intelligence and modern technologies played a significant role in this work.
This incident once again proved that artificial intelligence and drone technology play a crucial role in saving human lives. Saverio Isola described this achievement as a result of teamwork and effective collaboration of technologies.
As a result, the ability to find quick and accurate solutions in complex situations has increased with the help of advanced technologies
