The President of Uzbekistan signed a decree on "Additional measures to improve labor relations and vocational training systems and to encourage employers." This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to this decree, starting from September 1, 2025, economic entities operating in the service, agriculture, and construction sectors with up to 50 employees will have the opportunity to conclude and terminate electronic labor contracts through Face ID in the Unified National Labor System. In addition, the procedure for notifying the authorized body in advance about inspections conducted by state labor inspectors has been abolished.
The requirement to warn the entrepreneur for 10 working days before the start of inspections based on cases identified through the "Risk Analysis" system is no longer applicable to labor inspection checks. These changes are aimed at further simplifying labor relations and encouraging the activities of employers.
At the same time, the introduction of the electronic contract system will accelerate the process of formalizing labor contracts and will be an important step towards the widespread implementation of digital technologies. The new regulations will serve to make the relationships between employers and employees more open and transparent.
